Re: Adventurebilt Status Update Anyone?
Steve emailed me this week (12-07 order here) confirming he had all my info and asked for my address. This could be a good sign or he is just making sure his records are accurate. Either way

Re: Adventurebilt Status Update Anyone?
As I hit the 3 1/3 year mark (12-07 here), I do what I do each year as we roll into nicer weather -I buy something else. Year 1 - New Golf Clubs Year 2 - New Harley Year 3 - New Big Green Egg Year 4 - Wait for it.........50" Plasma HDTV and a sweet Aperion speaker system w/a Marantz Receiver Th...

Re: Adventurebilt Status Update Anyone?
12-07 here and waiting patiently as usual. I have found if I buy something special it keeps my mind off the AB that is coming. In 08 I bought new golf clubs, in 09 I bought a new Harley and this year I bought myself a Big Green Egg. Keeps my mind of the hat and if worse comes to worse, I am sure the...

Re: Adventurebilt Status Update Anyone?
I'm a 12-07 order and patient as heck here. When the hat gets here, I will be a happy AB owner. I think I said in my last post back in August, to pass the time I went out and bought a new Harley. Can't say that will work for everyone, but it sure worked for me. As a matter of fact, I'll take it out ...

Re: Adventurebilt Status Update Anyone?
I ordered mine 12-07 and I know that when it gets here, I will be pleased. To help pass the time I went out and bought a Harley. I probably would have bought the scoot anyway, but the AB will sure go well with the HD.

I never posted it but I ordered mine 12-20-07. I can't remember but I think I asked Steve to use his judgment and bash it anyway he wanted. I have been wearing a Banjo _, my JPD and going back and forth between 2 Art Fawcett masterpieces. When my AB shows up soon it will be a challenge to get it int...

The standard OTR is up to 48 but she said it will take ~2 weeks to make one for me to size. I asked for no alterations other than a larger size and she was very accommodating. The quoted price was the same at $588 with the amenities previously listed. Since they didn't have a 50 or 52 in stock, she ...

After speaking with Jessica today I pulled the trigger on my own Buffalo Expedition. Taking the advice of multiple people, I am having a 50 Long shipped out to me to size and I will be able to determine if that will do or if I will need a 52 Long. I just hope I don't develop a need for the sample in...

Is there any average wait time? I realize OTR is essentially order processing and shipping whereas custom requires additional labor. I'm just very anxious to have it. I went to the Vanson outlet store yesterday and tried on a couple jackets and the 50s were very tight on me. Too tight in fact though...

My Wested is on order
After reading many helpful posts here, I narrowed my choices down to a couple. I could not get the G & B Expedition in HH according to the individual I spoke with there and I felt pretty strongly that HH was the way I wanted to go. After waffling back and forth I pulled the trigger and ordered a...

My Jimmy Pierce Custom
Today I headed to the Post Office to pick up my JPD Custom. I had ordered it back on April 7th and was getting anxious to get it, especially since I had seen a few others delivered while I was waiting. Turns out there was good reason for the wait; Jimmy cares about his product. The first hat he made...
