Yes, when I ordered mine, I made sure to tell them that I wanted a JS.

I have to say, the Zorro whip's pretty cool-looking too....but the price is a bit high for my taste. Besides, it's not a Jones whip.

As I've found, and anyone here will tell you, it's just a matter of time and practice. I can only do 2 cracks successfully as of yet, so I just keep working on it. Once you get even 1 crack down, you'll find that it's a great form of stress relief, not to mention a whole lot of fun.

Should be good to go. But make sure to use Pecards on the fall after every time you use it, as that tends to dry out the quickest. I've found that keeping an eye on the end of the thong for dryness is a good idea too, as that, along with the fall, is the part of the whip that takes the most abuse. F...

Wow, ITG...I don't see at all where this gal could have gotten the idea that writers, poets, or driving a stick shift has anything to do with cracking a whip like Indiana Jones. Hmmmm....I'm completely lost on that one. Good story though!!!

HJS is planning on sending his shirt and pants to The Magic Wardrobe to have copies made. I'm sure any good seamstress (or tailor) could make copies....for a price (but they were pricey to begin with.)

I think this thread has convinced me once and for all that I need to get goggles--my sunglasses just aren't going to cut it. Or maybe I should just get out one of our airsoft masks. That'd do the trick nicely (but it gets so hot in those things...)

Off the cash goes towards tuition, and I needed every cent too. I added the numbers up... in the past four years ISU tuition has increased 67%. It's just a little under 100 miles. Not too far a drive, especially for quality hats! It's a cute little town--when we go back next weekend, we're going to leave a lot earlier so we can explore it more. We may also stop in Tombstone again so we can see the shootout.
