How do you store your hats?

My hat "collection" has grown to four hats.

Now I need a way to store them. I would like them to be visible but out the way. Maybe on the wall?

Any ideas?

Can someone explain how to post a pic? I see them all over this site, so I know it can be done.

So I shouldn't use steam to shape it then?

Also, why aren't the img tags working?

Just received my Fed Deluxe. Got a couple questions.

My new Fed Deluxe arrived today, and I have a couple questions. In a previous thread, I mentioned that another Akubra hat that I owned, a Coober Peedy, was too tight at size 58. I measured my head and it came to 58.5 As such, I ordered my Fed in size 59, but put a note with the order that my head me...

Why does the AB Deluxe cost so much more than a standard AB?

With the currency conversion, an AB Deluxe costs around $450. Nearly twice as much as the standard AB.

What do you get for the extra money?

Thanks again.

Is there a particular vendor that you would recommend that I order from for a Federation Deluxe?

Thanks Michaelson!

I am going to get an Adventurebilt, but I am about to place an order for a Federation to hold me over until it arrives.

How different are the Federation and the Federation Deluxe. Is the Deluxe worth the extra money?

How tight should a hat fit?

I have an Akubra hat. It is a size 58. It leaves a red mark on my forehead almost immediately. I think a 59 would be too loose and would blow off my head in the wind.

How tight is too tight?

My head measures 58 1/2 cm. What size should I get?

I have an Akubra Coober Pedy, size 58, that was always a little bit tight on me, and left a pretty big red mark on my forehead. At least it was too tight until I customized it as seen here: http://www.indygear.com/cow/viewtopic.php?t=17477 Now it fits nicely. I am going to order a Fed Deluxe or AB, ...
