I have been to World Hat in Pasadena. They have quite a selection of all types of hats. Stetson, Dobbs, they even had a couple of Montecristi when I was there. They have some that are of good quality but they really don't seem to be into hats. I could tell it is just a job for the owner and his wife...

I think Kid Rock needs a new hat. But then again, who doesn't?

I think part of it is that Akubra does not make an "Indy hat". They make the Federation that is the best for making an Indy hat. But they don't bash it for you. It probably has something to do with licensing and rights. Another reason is probably because DM looses alot of bussines to the i...

Very nice hats. I really like the gray AB. I liked it so much when you first showed photos of it that I ordered one telling Steve, "exactly like the one you made for Hemingway Jones". Very nice.

Don't mean to get off topic but what is that jacket you are wearing Indiana Tone? Nice. I have been searching for one just like that.

I would go with the 59. I orderd a 57 and when I got it, it felt 2 sizes too big until I wore it for a while. Now after 2 weeks it feels like the right size. They do shrink a little bit and if it is just way too big, Hatsdirect has a pretty decent return policy. Enjoy that Fed. It's a nice hat.

You can always keep the hat and make some ebayer or COW member  very happy that he or she does not have to go through international waters to get their Fed. I would pay to not have to go through the Hatsdirect process. Not that they don't do a good job, it just gets to be an expensive hat with ...

Wear your fedora.

Also, if some people are refusing to buy a hat from you because you wear a NY cap and they are fans of other ball teams, would wearing your fedora be any worse for business? :?:

Putting all social implications of a baseball cap aside, I still think the ball cap is childs piece of clothing. Mass production makes the value of things go down in my book. Maybe if there were some very well made ball caps that offered some sort of workmanship that stood out, I would change my min...

I am new to this forum but have been enjoying it for months now and I hate for my first post to be anything negative but I can't keep my fingers from commenting on how much I hate baseball caps. I am with Fedora on this one. I understand how calling a ball cap a hat would insult a hat maker like him...
