Here goes with a couple of pictures... http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c84/jwmace/Outfit.jpg Uhh, apologies for the smug look, I didn't know I was pulling that face until I uploaded it! That's what a new Wested does to you I guess! Anyway, here's a picture of the inside, showing the pocket ...

Thanks for those pics Indiana Tone, those are exactly what I was after! I think it might be helpful if someone could compile a collection of similar photos illustrating all the common options directly compared like that in one thread; it currently takes ages searching the forum to find them all and ...

I'm trying right now to get Wested to agree to make me another one but with a front zip that reaches right to the bottom; having it finish 1 1/2" up from the bottom of the jacket just looks really weird to me. I did request it last time, but no joy. :( Anyone know where there are any close-ups ...

erri, I think you should definitely send it back; in the second set of photos the sleeves definitely are too short, much shorter than mine and I reckon you're about right with adding an extra 2". I think the wrinkling has taken about 1/2" out of the length on mine after 2 weeks of wearing ...

erri, sounds like your sleeve length must be just about the exact same as mine, relative to the measurements we sent. I noticed the same thing when wearing mine with a T-shirt and again with a shirt. Having said that, the sleeves seem to hang about where my normal jacket does, so maybe it's just tha...

Looks great erri! 8) I know how much trouble you've had getting that! I had the same thing with the sleeve length on mine (also 80's fit, ordered a week later than erri's, arrived two weeks earlier). They seem to be about 2" shorter than the measurements I sent, but after watching Raiders a who...

Skippy's right. You can request your jacket without the leather facing, but then you can't exchange or get a refund on it. This is definitely still true; I got mine on Monday without any leather facing inside the zip, as per my request 8) !

I got them from the recommended source, the San Francisco shop at aldenshop.com. Unfortunately, it says on the site that they don't charge any US tax on the international sales, so I'm stuck with that. I was half expecting it though; any time I get an international parcel delivered by UPS they...

Got my Aldens! New record fast delivery time?

Hi. I just received my new Alden 405s, from the Alden shop to my front door in the UK TWO DAYS after ordering! Is that some kind of a record? They're in the exact colour shown on the Alden website for the Indy Boot, which is a relief after seeing pictures of so many pumpkin coloured pairs......

Please put me down too. I'd like mine pre-modified rather than the kit; judging from the prices for the other styles on your site, zippos are a fair bit cheaper over there than here in the UK!

Cheers!

erri, I asked the same question last week because there didn't seem to be an easy to find answer to the 80's cut question. Also Gemma seemed to be almost discouraging me from it, but that might be because it might not suit the average man today who may be slightly heavier built than the average man ...

_, apparently yours was the biggest until my brother started some kind of hat size wars! Mine's about 7 5/8 I think, so it's not exactly tiny either.

Oddly we have some Welsh blood on my mother's side so maybe there's something in that. Hey, maybe we're related!

Thanks for the welcome guys! I'm talking about the 80's cut option that Wested offer (I think as a result of requests from COW members) which is apparently quite a bit closer fitting in the sleeves and body than the standard, the fit of which has been adjusted to be more in line with the way a moder...

80's vs Standard cut: Anyone got pictures to help me choose?

Hello everyone and welcome to my first post! Anyway, I'm just about to order my first Wested Raiders jacket and now I have t...
