The blanco you picture here is incorrect for ww2 and is post war, powder cake stuff would be best just to give your mk7 a nice camo look and used adventure look :D Thanks for the info, didn't know that. Yes, we'll be totally scr**ed after the bill comes to force. I'm also a ww2 reenactor and I know many of my frends are buying everything they can now before everything becomes unavailable. Off to beltring W&P show next week and going to get a Blank fire Walther P38, a PPK and a De-ac Mauser K98...

If you need a bag with dividers in get a 37patt small pack on a shoulder straps, very practical, and in my opinion would make a good indy bag.

Butt forward was a favorite carry position for many MANY years. It was a a standard carry for horse soldiers, as the real 'killing' arm was the one that could swing a sword...the revolver was considered a secondary weapon, and therefore was carried on the sword side, but in a butt forward position ...

They are REALLY beat up - they have dirty marks on them and one has a splash of soemthignt hat resembles blue paint on them. They are still intact and durable though. I ran them through the washing machine to soften them up a bit and get trid of the worst of the smell. I am happy with them as I can...

I saw this too and ordered it and it is wrong - the bag marked at £5 while marked on the site as a MKVII is in fact not a MKVII - I think its the MKVI - it has flaps on both sides anyway. Certainly works for a holster of the "Golden Age" but it lacks some of the timeless quality of the leather. The 37 pattern does have a handy attachment point for an ammo pouch, that helps attach the whole thing to your web belt, though. Plus, even though it was designed for the .38 Webley...
