Re: What's the difference....

Schott offers some of their motorcycle jackets in either cowhide or steerhide. I've owned their "Perfecto" in both hides, and the steerhide was much stiffer, and tougher feeling. I did not know US Wings was offering any steerhide jackets. Just some info I got from Gail at Schott about the...

Re: US Wings Legend Vs G&B Expedition?

Be curious to see a comparison of the two myself. I've experienced GB for years, but have not seen a USwings Legend in person. The bison they have looks appealing and the Schott quality along with the good things I hear about USwings makes it tempting as well.

It's amazing what you find when you dig through old posts... I've been doing a similar comparison myself right now between a GB and USwings as far as fit, except I'm focusing on the Legends, which I hear have a trimmer fit in comparison. I've never had a USwings or seen one in person as of yet, but ...

What's funny is I just brought a 141 recently too. I've been wearing it for over 2 weeks now and it's fantastic. The naked cowhide is very supple and the jacket is very well constructed and wearing it I can tell it could withstand a lot of wear and abuse. The tighter fit took some adjustment but aft...

I have a Wested in size 44, but the FS I had fit the same and it was a size 42. FS tends to be a big baggier so if you wear a 42 then you'd probably fit into a size 40. I suggest giving FS (aka G&B) a call to make sure.

I personally don't think it's an FS Expedition. Take a close look at the bottom of the jacket, specifically Ford's right and our left. That doesn't look like a plain bottom, to my eye it looks like it might have some elastic in it like an A2 and I definitely see a cuff in that sleeve.
