Be curious to see a comparison of the two myself. I've experienced GB for years, but have not seen a USwings Legend in person. The bison they have looks appealing and the Schott quality along with the good things I hear about USwings makes it tempting as well.

I have a Wested in size 44, but the FS I had fit the same and it was a size 42. FS tends to be a big baggier so if you wear a 42 then you'd probably fit into a size 40. I suggest giving FS (aka G&B) a call to make sure.

Yeah, actually I've contacted them several times in the past few months. In fact, about a month ago I emailed them and they said 10 more days. More recently they told me that it's due to a bad shipment of leather and that it may take a few more weeks still for me to get my jacket.

I think Fedora's got a long list of fans waiting for one of his hats. I can imagine a fleet of hats going around with the adventurebuilt logo inside of them. Quality is quality, and Fedora's hats promise to be, as they say so often around here, "top notch."

Nope, the goat is the most durable but the cowhide is warmest out of all the leathers Wested offers.

I always thought the storm flap was that long and narrow piece of leather over the zipper. The Raiders jacket doesn't have snaps at the top and bottom, many jackets do, and I believe, at least the LC does, and I believe the TOD also. The rectangular slides (buckles) are more authentic than the brass D-rings.

You know this actually happened a few years ago, and I'm not surprised it's happening again. They were selling MKVII bags for over $100 on ebay. I personally thought it was crazy back then, especially since I had gotten my bag for at least 1/10 that price.

I personally don't think it's an FS Expedition. Take a close look at the bottom of the jacket, specifically Ford's right and our left. That doesn't look like a plain bottom, to my eye it looks like it might have some elastic in it like an A2 and I definitely see a cuff in that sleeve.

Well one it's smaller than most bullwhips and it doesn't have a stiff handle on it like bullwhips do. According to DM it's main use is to make noise and scare critters.
