I have both jackets too. Both are fine but I prefer the toughness of the goat and the look of an well traveld lamb. So one is for fashion dressing and one for daily use. My first wested that i bought used (and has not wearn before) also seems
to be an old version. It is lamb and has lining at the top of the stormflap.
The Stormflap is much higher than on my new on. It has no extended back panel etc etc. How old might that jacket be ?

Mine are a bit red brown . What will happen if i use dark ore mid brown shoe creme on them ? I used non coloured shoe creme and polished them with a white cloth . After polishing them the cloth was brown. Could it be that the loose some colour ?

Mine had the same sleeve lengh. I would not shorten them. Better a bit long than tooooo short .

The shoes came today and i must say that they are the nicest pair of boots i ever owned . The fitt perfect and are very very comfortable.
Hope they are tough enough so that i can wear them many many years.

I own a dark brown (ore authentic?) lamb and a dark brown goat !
I like both but which i prefer i can only say after i weard my goat for a year (because of the distressing) .

I have an old " Glashütte " wrist watch which is one of the first wrist watches which are made in East Germany during/after WWI !
I think this watch looks very nice to IndyGear.
You can get such watches very cheap in the German Ebay
sometimes you also find German Military Watches from WW2

If you are Euopean you must not pay any taxes ! I send my Jacket back two weeks ago and postage was 25 € . For that money it is unpossible to travel to London ! For my last trip i payd 80 €. But it would be fun to visit Wested

Your Jacket looks very beautiful ! The thing with the cuffs is a very good idea . But to add this to my jacket it is too late.
