I think the best way to age a WPG bag is to use it. That's what I'm doing with mine; now 3 weeks old. I was going to dye it at first, but I think I'll just leave it as is since it is a cool color. Strong enough for anything I could think of using it for. Thick material and lots of stitching. For the $38 it's a great bag.

I think the whole thing had a strange smell...like chemicals or something.

As for the strap I've sanded it down, polished it and put conditioner on it. Now it smells like leather that's been polished...like shoes.

Hey!

I used some Zymöl leather conditioner on the back and sides and WOW! It must be the lanolin something, but this thing looks nice and dark and it's softer too.

Indiana Jackson, I'm coloring my strap now with shoe polish...I mean right now! I had to sand it to get the polish to stick. If you roll the strap back on itself with the colored side in it really softens it up and takes away the smoothness of the finish. As for the color of the bag...I'm holding fo...

This one was purchased for me to use as a diaper bag...it's true! It's 100 times more manly than those things sold as diaper bags.

Well, it came today! I know staying home from work would do the trick. They said that they sent it out on Monday. Now, if they use UPS then that's cool, but it it's US Mail they were off on Monday; MLK.

As I posted yesterday I have a WPG MK bag on the way. In the pictures the strap looks nice and dark on the outside, but the inside is light in color. Is this correct?
