I bought one of these recently. The whip holder is so short I can bearly get it snapped over my whip.

Anyone else having this problem?

How long is your whip?

yeah, sounds like you got yourself a 10 footer or more, as it fits over my 8 footer with a little room to spare.

I'd imagine a 9 footer would fit in there well. I have a 7.5 footer from ECwhips. Are you trying to fasten it with the leather around the decorative knot of the whip (fat part below the handle)?

Mid handle plus 2 two curls of the whip itself is the best I've been able to do. That leaves coils of about 18 inches in diameter. That's looser than I'd like and takes awhile to refasten.

Try coiling it, and attaching it further along the thong, rather than with the handle

This way you'll get tighter (therefore more) coils, and a better fit

Hey, where's the wrist loop on that whip? At first it looks like it's there, but then again, it looks more like the rock line... :?

Thanks for the photo. That will help, but it also shows his holder to be noticeably longer than mine.

Now now...it's not the size of the holder, it's how you use it.

As I have mentioned previously, I have the NH Raiders belt with the attached whip holder, and the holder is too big for my 10' DM. I have coiled it many different ways, and yet it always seems to come loose. The 'adjustable' whip holder seems to be the way to go.

Bink, the wrist loop is there, but is off on an angle to the right, and may appear as part of the rock-face of the cliff. Take a good look...kinda like one of those 3D pics

Yeah, I see it. But it's confusing since it blends right in with the seams of the rock face... (looking even closer) Yep, it's there. It's just hiding.

Yeah, the tip off is the braiding...very few naturally occurring braided rocks...

...okay, I agree, it's hard to see, but on this monitor I can still pick it out fairly clearly. :)

Only on COW can you be asked the length of your whip w/o innuendo.

you say if you put the handle through, you can get two coils, and its kinda loose, right? Well, if that's the case, try pulling on the thong until it tightens up some...or you could try not putting the handle through..
