Which strap?

I'm looking for a new bag strap (to replace the one on my V.1 WPG MkVII) that won't give any shirts a brown stripe, but still looks good. I don't need the race stripes, or the perfect, screen accurate buckle, so I'm leaning towards the Keppler. Anybody with a new Keppler Raiders that can tell me whether or not it rubs off?

Go with a Todd's and get a better buckle. The Keppler is no doubt top-notch, but then there's the lead time issue...

Wow... it has the grooves, apparently it has a better buckle, says it'll have a better lead time, AND it's $10 cheaper! Wow... does it rub off on your shirt? If not - I'm ordering myself a new bag strap next weekend!

Rub a dub dub is indeed the key for no bleeding. When you're done with your pecards, sit down and watch a favorite movie as you hold a cloth in one hand (old T-shirt ;)) and your strap in theother. Let the strap run through the cloth making a fist several times from each direction. When you're done with the movie, or even sooner, you should have no bleeding and a softer strap. It's a nice method if you decide to change the color a bit using regular shoe polish before the Pecard too. Also, I've heard brick walls come in handy for softening and distressing your strap, not mentioning names as to who's method it is. ;)

Alright then, I'm going with the Todd's strap. Thanks a bunch, guys! I decided to go with Todd's deluxe holster too, when I need/can afford that. ;)

When everyone says Pecards, is it the waterproofing dressing with the darkener? I used that and seems to have work, but the underside is really difficult to get the excess dressing off of. It kinda gets an oily feeling, but it hasnt rubbed off on any shirts so i guess it worked.Maybe thats the leather bleeding , it does take awhile so watching a movie is a good idea, but the strap looked "wet" on the underside for awhile.

Yeah, Pecards is the stuff that weatherproofs (some of the Pecards does that) and makes the leather darker. You also know it as the stuff we put on our whips, shoes, and jackets.
