Happy Birthday, Goat!

My Wested dark brown Raider Goat is 1 year old!
Thoughts:
1) So pleased I bought it.
2) It looks great.
3) No undesirable wear damage (eg. no stitching breaking loose etc.).
4) Breaking in nicely (ie "appearance improving"). For the first 6 months I looked after it too much - hung it up on a hangar - I treasured it - almost worshipped it! It was would have remained pristine for ever like that! Then I read they thrive on a little abuse - a valuable piece of advice someone here gave me was to "bundle it up and toss it into a corner when you take it off". 6 months of this and it's really looking good - developed fine wrinkles over it.
5) Pecarded it once a few weeks after getting it. Intend doing this twice a year.
6) Never had it wet yet. Though I guess this'll happen- but with proper care (no artificial heat drying and maybe Pecarding) I doublt it'll suffer - I've read that after a soaking it might even look better!
7) The sleeve length is finally loooking about right! (I ordered "the extra inch") (- but maybe next time I'll request an extra three quarters of an inch rather than 1 inch).
So pleased I met you guys.
Regards,
Striver
