Well I have my fedora and my wested leather jacket. I am thinking about going cheap on the rest of the items. I have $125 wolverine boarhide boots that are pretty awesome. All I need is shirts and pants and I want them on the cheap. Does anyone know about the Cabelas safari shirt and how accurate they are? Also where is a cheap place to get the pants?

Just search internet military surplus stores for close enough pants and shirts and you'll find them very cheap.Unless you have a Surplus store near you.I found this cheap close enough shirt,only thing that ruined it is shipping minimum charge seems to be $10 and theres a 9$ fee for low orders, mine was at about $50 and i got the fee. So thats atleast $19 just to order so i changed my mind on ordering. But this shirt is cheap:

Actually for 3 season wear, in my opinion, I like it better. The shirt is probably the most durable shirt in my inventory. The cotton/poly blend, I find that it drys much faster than an all cotton shirt. In real hot weather I will agree with you, this shirt is bear to wear and the all cotton shirt out performs this cotton/poly. Stains, just wipe right off. I've had pizza sauce, wine, nasty coffee, and an errant fall of the whip strike my sleeves and the stains just wipe away. If you are a slob, the shirt keeps you looking snappy.
And the price, my GOD!
If you do a "plus", "minus" tabulation, I think you might see your answer better.

If you do a search for Cabelas in the General Gear category, you'll find many more comments about the shirt.
I am curious to see how the workmanship and price are still holding up.

I have the Cabelas shirt (stone) and it is very good. The pleat(s) don't go down the whole shirt (only the pockets) but it's still very good for it's price! I recommend it

P.S. I ordered both the shirt AND the pants I put a link too...the shirt seems like a great cheap shirt which is good enough for Halloween and not bad even among gearheads, minus the need for epaulets and a bit more pleating. The pants, however, are not that close, but I'm giving them a shot anyway. They *might* be close enough in color that they pass for Halloween, but not close enough in color and style for gearheads.

I just recently bought two of the Cabelas Safari shirts. The buttons are two color but otherwise I think they look fine . Also, I chose the stone color over tan. I figured it looked more screen accurate .

I have a half-dozen of their shirts, and I have found them to be comfortable and rugged.
