Sean used the umbrella prop extensively in
Crusade. What brand is it? Could it be a Brigg?

I did read that somewhere (Brigg) MK, but darn if I can remember where.

In case anyone's wondering, that's MK and me discussing this point. I'm the guy on the left. Sorry.
The one closeup clinches one debate for me though regarding the LC jacket...lambskin, absolutely no further doubt in my mind now. Thanks MK. Regards. Michaelson

Looks like a Brigg to me.

Because the shaft is thin it could be steel with a wooden handle and tip. It could be a Fox tube umbrella

Hey, that looks like the umbrella I bought at Fox's in London a few years ago!
Same kind of tip & handle... I believe mine is navy blue, though.

Looking at the tip, this could be a Maglia umbrella

Look at the sleeve cuffs, MIKEY. I've never seen anything of the other leathers distress and pull back like lambskin does, as well as the drape of the sleeve itself. Same story, especially on a REALLY distressed lambskin from Wested. (Sorry to pull away from the topic, MK. Now back to the current discussion, unless someone could post just the closeup picture in the jacket section and we can carry on up there.) Regards. Michaelson

It's definitely a Brigg. Brigg umbrellas carry the royal warrant stating that they are the sole purveyors to HRM, The Queen. It's the gold band you see down near the handle in the photo.
I travelled to London around this time last year, and picked myself up a Brigg. It was certainly an expensive souvenir, but nothing says London like a well-made brolly!
