Just noticed how much the seam of the right shoulder is OFF the shoulder in this photo:
Now I feel better with the look of my Wested !

I imagine that since Ford was very physically active in the films, two versions of the jacket were made: one with proper fit, and another to allow an extra range of movement for specific scenes. The latter would probably fit more loosely around the shoulders and under the arms and not as constrictive around the chest. In the picture you posted, he may have worn the "stunt" jacket.
This is just speculation on my part. But if that's how your jacket looks, it still looks great!

That makes me feel a little better too. I love my Wested but when it first arrived it was still a tad "stiff" (Ack! what an awful word to describe the lamb) and thus these shoulder seams were very prominent.
I thought I had made another measurement error (dont ask how much of the sleeve length I had to have removed...duh
), but then my leading lady pointed out that in many shots it was obvious that my shoulder seam placement was indeed correct. After wearing for a little while the Lamb adjusted to my body and now they look spot on.

You can look at it like this...BOTH ways are screen accurate now.
Close and snug AND loose and roomy. I myself prefer the loose and roomy fit. Gives you more freedom of movement, IMHO.

I don't know - to me it looks as if the collar is pulled away from his neck about 1 1/2" on that side as well, while the left shoulder is closer to his neck. In fact, the whole jacket is pulled to the his right.

I see what you mean.
I would have figured the left would be pulled away since Kate is resting on his left shoulder. Unless he moved AFTER she had the left side held in place with her hands.

If my Cotton Raiders is unzipperedand and the collar is farther from my neck, it hangs just about there. The problem is with cotton, it just makes it look like I'm skinnier than I am, rather than the heavy weight of leather hanging off.
