WooHoo! Looks awesome! Who did your paint job on Howard's bust!!?? Does he have glass eyes? Looks amazing! And that base!! It's the floor to the Idol Temple!! Absolutely gorgeous! Yeah...with a new whip, you'd be ALL set! I'd like to see you darken up the bagstrap and gunbelt though...those are my only minor criticisms. The fedora really seems to fit well on your display...it's a problem I've seen with alot of Indy displays that you seem to have solved! How'd you do it? And what gear are we looking at here? Has that shirt been re-dyed? And that holster...looks like a ToD...but the fedoras got a Raiders bash. Any info on the holster, and which look you were going for?

Thanks, I'm going for the Raiders look, which is why I want to change holsters. The bust was painted by a friend, Those are glass prosthetic eyes. From top to bottom here is the gear: Akubra Fed Deluxe, Wested Jacket, Cabelas shirt, Wells Lamont gloves, LL bean pants, British WW1 holster, airsoft .38 revolver, New Braunfels Whip, J Crew boots.

Nice use of Fuller's earth. The pockets on your jacket look great.

Hey,
Can you point out all the symbols at the bottom. I see the ark, staff of ra and the grail. What else is there?
Thanks,
Pyro

Thanks everyone! I'm very pleased with the way this one turned out.
The symbols (other than the head piece, Ark, and grail) came from the cardboard box for the old Kenner "Well of the souls" playset. I have no idea what they mean but I figured they are Indy related.
The Ark came from the Maproom playset, I scaned it and blew it up to use as a template.
Sorry for the poor quality pictures, there's actually a lot more detail to the base than what shows up on the picture.

The symbol to the left of the headpiece, is the ankh, the Egyptian symbol of life.
Anyway, Great job.

Very nice! I'm new here and I would like to create an Indy figure for myself. It will take me a while to learn about Indy gear, but in the end, I think I will have had a lot of fun learning, and virtually meeting some of the club members.
The head is nicely finished and I especially love the base. Great work!
