Quick Question-

Post by Indydawg »

Anybody know anyone stateside-preferably in the Southeastern part of the country-that does jacket alterations and re-lining? I want to get the sleeves lengthened on an old Wested of mine and it will need to be re-lined in the sleeves (I'd like to get the whole jacket done, anyway, though-it's satin and I want cotton), and I have a black leather jacket that needs a cotton lining as well.....

Anyone?

Anyone?

Anyone?

Bueller?

Mens and Ladies Alterations. 305 Murfreesboro Hwy, Manchester, TN. 931-728-7511. Hours used to be 9-5 Central M, T, Thr, and Fri. 9-12 on Wed. Ask for Rue Clark. She was the last person I dealt with. They've done several Wested's for me over the years, and can tell you what they can and do when you give them a call. Regards. Michaelson

Hey, Mike!!!

Post by Indydawg »

Yeah, yeah...I know...but I figure the guys around here that know me, understand-those that don't....well, I wish I had the time to GET to know you ALL!!!!

Good to hear from you, too, my old friend!!! (Not to imply that you are old...just that we've known each other a long time and been through a bit)....

Anywho....I was just getting some work done at my computer and had just pecarded my distressed cowhide Expo last weekend (which is looking marvelous, by the way)....and I am dying to also get my old Wested from 2000 up and running-just need the sleeves lengthened a bit (it used to fit perfectly....maybe my arms got longer????!!!). Actually, it could use taking up in the chest a bit as well, but....I'm not complaining too much there. But I can't get the sleeves lengthened without getting them re-lined....

so....again....I come before the illustrious IndyGear forum to seek guidance and wisdom. I'm sure you've all had alot more of that since I haven't been around all that much  ...

Hope you and yours are doing well, man!
Highest Regards!!

Same guys, and they're still over there plugging away. Been hanging in there, but without you backing me on a regular basis, marosy has been pretty hard to keep in line. Glad to see you're not dead! :D Regards. Michaelson

Nope-not dead-just very, very, very, VERY tired....you remember the X-Files episode where they find Mulder after he'd been abducted and they think he's dead but he's really just in a recouperative coma? Well, that's where I've been....only trouble is I don't get to stay there long enough to recoup....

Yeah, I can see how old Marosy could be hard to keep in line!!

Good to hear from YOU, too, my friend!!!! I sure have missed "talking" with you on a daily basis!!

Whud 'up dawg? Long time no hear!

I'm wunderin' the same thing 'round about these parts. I need the same thing done to my son's U.S. Wings jacket. Anyone know of a place in the tri-state (Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana) area?

Wuz up, Joe?

Hey, man....listen, you're so close to Ohio, you could just take it over to Wings, meet the Sarge in person, and leave the jacket with him.

Or, you could just send it to these same folks....I just didn't want to send it back over the big water if i didn't have to, ya know? Just too dangerous for packages these days  !

Hope you and the family are doing well! Gimme a ring sometime!

Or maybe they we're out partying it up for Indy's birthday.

... or too engrossed in the first The Archaeology of Indiana Jones to answer the phone.

And Dawg, as far as your arms growing, crank back a little on the medieval rack.

... OK, I'll behave now.

Glad you're doing well.
