Wested Raiders # 3 Arrived today!

Post by rbxb »

Got 3rd Wested Raiders Today!
Already had a goat & Lambtouch
This is a Lambtouch also
I havent held a real lamb yet but from what ive read here This Lambtouch is GREAT!
It is Light. Has the look , feel , color & drape of the Film Indy jackets. presumably tougher than Lamb. Best of both worlds
Peter, You gotta bring back the Lambtouch. Its cinamatically accurate enough & practical for REAL adventures. (This gear thing is really becoming addicting)

Congrats on your new jacket my friend! I've never owned a Lambtouch Cow before, but I've tried one on last year....and it was a "nice" jacket! :D More durable than the Lamb, but with the feel and weight of the Lamb. Wear in good health!

The Wested Lambstouch must have been considerably different than the USWings Lambstouch because the feel and drape was not near the same as my G&B lamb and the weight of the USWings Lambstouch is definitely heavier AND warmer than my lamb. That is why I wear it in late fall or early spring. Strange. :?

Also, how did you get your 3rd Wested, another lambstouch, if Peter is not offering it anymore, did I miss something in your post.

USWings has a lambstouch??? Hmm, I wonder if thats what I have? I bought a used USWings in what looks like Vintage cow, but it is as soft as the Wested lamb I've seen. Anyone know the specifics of the USWings lambstouch, and when they stopped making it, or if they still do???

Cool, I've been eyeing that sucker up lately. Looks like a great jacket.
I may have to get one of those, if it's softer tan this Vintage cow, than it must feel great. Rixter could you send me some pics, and or some measurements of your V.I.P.?

What exactly is this lambtouch? What does it look like? Is it really some sort of lamb? :?:

I believe the lambstouch is cowhide, but from the belly of the cow, where the skin is softest.
