Side-Straps--how do you wear them?

Post by Falstaff »

I've always thought the side-straps on my Wested were a bit on the long side. There always seems to be a great deal of loose leather dangling off my jacket when I have the sides cinched rather snug--my perferred position, if you will. Recently, while I was nosing around the Flighsuits site, I noticed that the picture of the side-straps of the Expedition had the straps folded back onto themselves. By doing the same, I've solved my problem of the long straps--no, I don't want to cut them off.

Does anyone else do this, of have any other way of cinching up their straps?

The 'fix' you mention is the one most practiced. Regards. Michaelson

Yeah... Too bad I just noticed--I've owned the jacket for more than 3 years!

No need to be embarrassed. I said it's the one most used by members, but not ALL members. I don't do it myself. Regards. Michaelson
