Bullwhip Sound Fx

(Apologies if this is the wrong subject for this forum)
For those of us into making Indy fan films, I thought that better whip cracks and whip "whoosh" sound effects other than the samples from the trilogy would be good to have. Would any whip masters here be willing to record some award winning cracks and wind-ups for all of us to use?

Another alternative is to try
www.sound-ideas.com
They sell sound effects libraries, although they might be a tad pricey. (Their Blue Plate Specials are cheaper) You can check listings of libraries to see which ones contain whip sounds.
Oh, and for the record- Don't bother with the LucasFilm sound effects library. It contains nothing you'd ever be interested in- Sounds of two different sports cars, an aircraft carrier, a helicopter, a few factory ambiences and a handful of animal noises, plus some wind & rain effects that you could easily get for less money on another library. Disappointing...

Actually, I've been to several websites that have whip sounds: they're generic and not really that good. What I'm after is for example, the whip sounds like those on Paul Stenhouse's DVD!
BTW, in the IJ/Emperor's Tomb game, there are several "clean" sound effects directly from "Raiders" that are in .wav format

Dear Bad Penny,
You have my permission to take them off the video if you're so inclined. I have no idea if they are of the quality for which you are looking but feel free to have at it.
Best Regards,
Paul Stenhouse

Thanks, Paul! Yes, there's a lot of great cracks on that DVD. You'll definitely get a screen credit if I use them!

Dear Bad Penny,
Sounds good to me! I know it's copyrighted, but let's be honest. Would I really take the time and effort to track anyone down? Not unless the video was being mass produced by someone else.
I'd also like to see what you've come up with, too.
Best Regards,
Paul Stenhouse
