Hello everyone, I am new to this site and to collecting Indiana Jones related items. I just received and bashed my Akubra Federation a couple of weeks ago, and I found indygear.com an invaluable resource.
I am planning on ordering a Wested jacket soon. Actually it was supposed to by my birthday present a couple of months ago from my wife, but I needed time to narrow down my design choices.
Anyway, on to my main question. I am going to attempt to make my own bullwhip. I have some leather work experience from when I was a kid, and I have been studying the craft through books. I know my first attempt will definitely be a learning experience, but hopefully I may turn it into a hobby of which my boss says I have too few of.
Does anyone know a good leather resource on the web or possibly in the Bay Area in California? I myself live in the South Bay.
Thank you for you help.

I've never handled a bullwhip, so I probably shouldn't talk, but from what I hear, it takes years of practice to make an OKAY bullwhip. I would personally reccomend EC Whips (great whips for a great price) Joe Strain, or one of the other whip makers and THEN try making your own whip later. :junior: -IJ
