APOLOGY to Wested and Peter!

Post by Flash Gordon »

This is a follow-up to the mystery of the three pins in my Wested.

Peter gave me the clue when he said that pins are not used in leather production.

But pins ARE used by.....

MRS. Flash!

I put her on the hot seat and wormed these facts out of her. Here they are:

I had asked my wife to stitch up a seam in the cotton lining that came undone a little. She used pins to hold the fabric while she sewed. She forgot to take out three of them. They must have fallen to the bottom along the hem. They only poked me when the jacket was in a certain position. Case closed. Except for this:

I'm sorry Peter! Mrs. Flash is REALLY sorry!

So, don't worry about your Westeds everyone! Just don't ask my wife to fix yours.

Now I'll insist that she count the pins she puts in and takes out. Wait, maybe she DID! It WAS an accident...wasn't it?

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

I can see it now, spouses of COW member are in cahoots with the Hovitos to place poisoned needles in the seams of Indy garments, thus killing the COW members and putting a halt to their misunderstood obsessions!

I had a feeling that it was something weird like that. I thought someone had played on joke on you. Maybe they did.

You may also want to send him a link in a PM or email.

I'm glad the mystery was solved.

You may want to 'bump' this one back up next week. Peter was leaving for a one week vacation in Greece this week, so he won't see anything until he returns next weekend. Regards. Michaelson

As per Michaelson's suggestion, I'm bumping this up so that Peter can read it after his trip to Greece.

 You know I knew there had to be a logical explanation, as I said we do not use pins. I wll have to apologise and give that Bearded Gentleman from Iraq his job back as a machinist. He did not lose the pin from his grenade after all. Seriosly, thanks for the apology and explanation.
Yes I am back and had a nice break in Corfu. Now doing a bit for Harry Potter.
Cheers

Wow! Harry Potter?? That's pretty cool. I'm a huge harry potter fan when I'm not a Lord of the Rings/Indiana Jones/Star Wars fan! I actually just bought my ex-girlfriend a replica Hermione wand from Japan for her birthday (she acts so much like Hermione its uncanny).

Well, considering Peter's company made most of the original Star Wars costumes, as well as many MORE movies, you're in good company. Regards. Michaelson
