DVDs would be good for a beginner to buy?

Yeah, I have to say, I think the best DVD for a beginner to buy would be Paul's. You can check it about a bit and get more ordering info here:

It's a very good comprehensive DVD, showing you all you need to know to get you started cracking, and some great maintenance tips.

Yep,
hands down, Paul's DVD is an excellent choice,
its an all around wonderful teaching aid.

You can't go wrong with adding it to your collection,
I've lost count at the number of times I've already watched it,
:).
