I was going back through the forum and I was reading how Peter has found a source for Lambs leather that is a match to what was used in the ROTLA film.
1) Is this the ''Auth. brown Lambskin.

2) Is this type of Lamb tougher than what was previusly offered in Lamb.

In the next two weeks I'll be sending my Cow off for a re-lining and while he has it why not make me another, and as many of us who have come to this cross road ''which type of leather. Now I know that Lamb was the orriginal (I too have emailed Peter this question)
I was wondering if any one can tell me if this new lamb can take more punishment, it's either that or go w/Auth. goat.

The color is dead on in accuracy but I would say its about the same durability wise as the previous lamb. Authentic lamb and authentic goat are both sourced from an unfinished film jacket whereas dark brown refers to the previous hide Peter used.
