I have an older disney whip I picked up about 8 years ago. You can see a pic of it here:

Not very screen accurate, but better than nothing. It exists in my collection merely to fill a void as a display piece. I never use it. I am replacing it with a better whip very soon.

I know this is an old topic... and I don't mean to offend or make fun... but that whip is horrifying. Sorry, I just had to get that out. I guess it's a good starter whip, and you're definately right, it's better than nothing. My first whip looked a little better, but was probably worse in quality. The fall wasn't even tied to the thong, it was just sort of... attatched... and it had a knot before the end, and made it double as the cracker.

Shane

Hey, stop ditching the WDW whip! Sure, it's not the best, but it is very good. It has lasted me for over 3 years. It isn't a whip from Ecwhips, or Strain, or Morgan, but it still is pretty good. SO STOP SAYING BAD THINGS ABOUT IT!!! YOU ARE THE WEAKEST LINK! GOODBYE!

You know, this is starting to sound like the Fedora section.
When it really comes down to it, if the owner is happy with his or her whip REGARDLESS of who made it, then that's all that ultimately matters. Sure there are whips available of varying quality, but heck, crack what you've got with pride!
Now I don't own a whip
yet, largely because it requires spending money, but when I do finally get one, I doubt it'll be a Morgan based
solely on price. But as long as the whip I buy makes me happy and I enjoy cracking it, then what's to complain about?
Can't we all just get along?

It's just that the whip cost 60bucks and does not crack well. you can get a much stronger and much more user friendly cow hide whip from mark allen and the like.
