Akubra Adventurer
Picked this Adventurer up several years ago. Funny my new to me US Wings jacket is also called the Adventurer.

Nice stuff! Not a model I'm familiar with, here in the home of Akubra. Was it a special order, or made for a particular retailer/e-tailer?

Very nice! Again, it's not an Australian model/sold here. So I will take the punt that its a retailer/etailer exclusive, made down here, for Morgan
It's like someone took our Federation model, shaped it a little bit, then left the crown open.

Exactly what they did. It was a sore point when it showed up.

Re: Akubra Adventurer
Understood and thanks, I am unfamiliar with the history of this model but the theory of it being one that was specifically made for a retailer makes sense. I picked this one up a few years ago on eBay and I periodically check and I don’t see many of these. I like it, it’s built well. Great example of an Australian made hat.
I guess this explains why when I used the search function I couldn’t really find any threads on the Adventurer.
