On my quest for another bag. Ever since watching ToD the MKVII bag (not MKVI used for pyro effect) gave me a feeling that something is different from bag used in Raiders.
One thing is that in ToD it appears to be stuffed with something while in Raiders it appears empty. What else could it be ?
Hmmm, I don't know, it looks to me like Indy sat on the bag and it kinda follows his behind's shape. It seems stretched by his bum and compressed by the jacket on top. Otherwise it looks empty, given how the edges pop up.
Quite possible explanation. I tried creasing my bag to get that shape and it really is possible if you bend sides of bag outwards, so your explanation might be correct. I also noticed that in other movies bags are bent inward at sides so this might explain different look of ToD bag.
