Hello

As the post subject is; Is anyone inside European Union making M1917 revolver prop replica ?
Not functioning one, besides maybe hammer moving and drum spinning like Denix Webley replica does ?
But what I want is that it "feels" and looks like real, not like plastic toy.
Thank you

Regards

As far as I know, not really. This has become my "grail" in the last years... I want a full metal M1917 replica, with at least some moving parts.

I have the HG131 airsoft revolver, but it is mostly plastic. The Tanaka replica is also heavy weight ABS, but it weighs around 600 grams so really feels like a toy.

I think I saw some resin replicas, as well as 3D printed, but that does not scratch my itch...

Cheers,
Bear

Yeah this model is hard to find. Tanaka replica is also hard to get (at least in EU). I was thinking about 3D printing, because there is some material that can look like steel but I don't know. This can get expensive.

I hope you will find this grail :)
Let me know if you discover something.

Yup, I am also in the EU and I am having the same trouble with the Tanaka. Otherwise, the Tanaka cap version will soon be available on MG Props, in the UK.

Yeah, there is 3D printing filament that contains metal apparently, I think that would be heavier and nicer than simple plastic filament. But the printer would be the cost driver there... ](*,)

If I find anything else, I'll keep you posted. Please do the same. :TOH:

Cheers,
Bear
