USING NAPHTHA ON RABBET FELT

Seeing as it worked well for me on Beaver felt, I was wondering if anyone ever tried it on Rabbit.
Never saw posts saying you can't, but not sure that when you send a rabbet in for cleaning, is it used.

From what I recall, Steve Delk used naphtha on both kinds of felt.

It’s what I thought, my rabbit isn’t in bad shape, no spots.

So Indiana Jeff, here’s another question regarding Naphtha.

I just picked up what’s called high flash Naphtha, based on a quick search on line ther different but seem similar.
So is there, is it safe to use on the beaver/ rabbit. :-k
