Hey all!
Finally getting around to sharing some pics of my Wested Legacy Raiders Hero jacket.
I’ve had it for some time now and, and I’ve done all kinds of weathering and distressing work on it.

I’ve kind of gone through a whirlwind of feelings about this jacket, I didn’t love the color or the fit at first, and as I did some weathering I started to warm up to it. Then the fit really started bugging me. And the undertones. And the fact that while the lamb skin used on these legacy jackets is soft like butter, it has an almost complete lack of texture. I started getting designs on buying another jacket to try and get it right. (First stage of insanity in this hobby. )

So I got another and another.

And all the while kept working away on this Legacy jacket, until one day I started to love it.

Here are a couple shots in different lights. It’s gotten all kind of sandpaper, water, scouring pad, pecards, dyes and dust. And I think it’s beginning to look and feel the part.

And one side by side with my Wested Destiny for contrast.

Also- should add that I wasn’t going for screen accuracy, just ‘adventure worn’

Absolutely love that jacket!! Amazing weathering job. I think you really nailed the essence of a Raiders jacket! I've been trying to find a Raiders Legacy Hero jacket used (a new one is out of my budget for now) and seeing your pictures makes me want to get my hands on one even more!! It's great to see a color comparison with the Destiny jacket as well. Congrats on a beautiful jacket and my highest praises on the weathering job
