I have come across a Poet with a liner than I can't seem to place date wise. Im thinking about 2016. I was wondering on the quality as the printing on the liner and leather seem a little cheap. Was this a period where the brand was not getting any attention from Swaine? Much appreciated

It’s not worth it, I’ve seen it myself on eBay. The quality of this hat would be no where near the current HJ offering.

It’s a factory hat with poor stitching, poor sweatband, poor quality felt. Good for a costume piece, at the right price.

There are so many better options for the money they want for it.

That looks like it is from the time when Herbert Johnson hats came from the Christy‘s factory pre their reboot.
This is a just a guess, but the sweatband, liner and stitching look identical to my Christy’s Adventurer from 2009 apart from the Herbert Johnson logos.
