I’m in the last stage of my S&J ordering process to get a 36 Main Hero in ribbed lambskin.

But then they sent me a packet of leather samples and the ToD leather has what is, to my eye, the most screen accurate color and texture I’ve ever seen. I know the ribbed striations are accurate to certain scenes, but that sample is much more real brown

The ToD has that weird grey-black-brown tone which always characterizes the screen jacket, to me, and Diego tells me they use the ToD leather for other 36 Cazadora jackets like the TRUCK HERO. And that color—holy cow.

Does anyone have photos or opinions on the S&J striated vs ToD lamb?

I’ve seen jackets made with both leathers in person, I personally prefer the striated leather.
