Looking for a decent whip

Ok guys, been many years since I was one here. I purchased a budged whip years ago from someone on here but am looking to upgrade.
I'm not a millionaire but would like a raiders style whip that I can at lease be proud of....any ideas? Pics from your own collection would be helpful...

Thanks Duck

Hi!

What's your budget? I think it is the most important factor.

Are you after a proper roohide Indy bullwhip or a nylon one would do just fine?

Check out the updated vendor list on the main site.

https://indygear.net/indygear-vendors/

If you’re not too much of a purist, do check out nylon whips. They are generally lower in price and just as good in quality.

Indiana Jeff

Unfortunately that would be not enough for a roohide Indy bullwhip.

But as Indiana Jeff mentioned you can check out nylon whips. I can make you one. Check out my work here: viewtopic.php?t=70889

With your budget I’d recommend going with Nylon if you want something that’ll last a lifetime. Tomek makes great stuff from what I’ve seen, but I’d also recommend swordguybuilds and eliasonwhipco.

I can only reiterate what the others have said. For the budget you can get a great nylon whip.

If you think you might put some more money away in the coming months, it is worth saving up for a roo hide whip though. :TOH:

Cheers,
