A quick comment about the Wested cowhide

Having owned my dark-brown cowhide for around 6 months, I just want to pass comment on the pleasing way these jackets 'break-in'. The leather is incredibly soft and supple now, and there is just the slightest signs of distressing (all natural of course - I wear this everyday!).
I have applied a little pecards a couple of times, but nothing extreme - these really are great jackets which just look and feel so much better with lots of wear!
It's funny how these jackets have a way of 'hooking' you - I just don't feel right if I 'm not wearing my wested! I suspect they have the habit of becoming the staple part of every owners wardrobe!
The only downside to the cowhide compared to my Lambskin is the extra weight, if I was pushed - but I still grab for the cowhide habitually every morning and it doesn't bother me at all.
You never loose sight of how cool these jackets are, even after a long spell of constant wear. That's the sign of a true high quality item!
So, nothing substantial to add to the 'gear legend' with this post - just the simple feedback of a happy wested owner.
