Wested posted on FB today that now they offer more colors of their webbing belts:

Which color would be best for Last Crusade: Sand or khaki?

They state the “Standard Color” to be the Sand, which is similar in color to my Straight City khaki color. Even though it appears lighter under bright light, the color can look golden under certain lights.
These are photos of the same Straight City belt.

Yea, that looks great. Too bad it costs a fortune to ship the web belt across the pond and since I don't have any other larger item I will order, I don't think I can purchase this from them.
My search will have to continue, unless someone USA based who plans to order a jacket or something from Wested would like to include a web belt in their order for me and then just ship it to me.

I asked Wested if they would sell the group a roll at retail (no hardware) to ship to US to bring down the shipping cost and they said no. They want to use them to sell with other items.
I think the Rothco khaki is a pretty good candidate, US company been around since 1953 and its 100% cotton.
