Hey everyone
Does anyone know of any method to restore the new leather smell?
Thanks in advance

Re: Restore new leather smell
Unfortunately, I do not think it is possible. The smells come from the natural leather and the tanning process. Can't really recreate it.

It’s like new car smell, once it’s gone it’s gone.

My lambskin smells different than my cowhide but the lamb is what I think of when I think of leather smell. Tom Ford makes a cologne called ombré leather i think.

Yes it’s easy.
Just buy a new jacket.

You're right, Croft! But thinking about it, maybe that's the gear-head addiction. Not getting a new Indy jacket, but getting a new source for leather smell...
