Coat Hanger for Hats

Found this in an old Popular Science magazine from April 1932:
The description reads: "This wire hat holder designed after the fashion of coat hangers, clamps to the wall and the wire band, working on a spring, lets the hat slip beneath it and then holds it snugly against the wall"
