Hi
Does anyone know if it is possible to iron the cotton lining of an Wested goat !
The lining on my new wested (just some days old) is very wrinkled (this is how i got it) and that looks not sooooo good .The other point is that it has a bell-form like a normal Bomber-Jacket and hangs not straight down like a TOD should.
How can i fix that ?

Try adjusting the side straps to make the sides straighter, as for the lining, I'd leave it alone, I think it will Loosen up and flatten out with normal wear, ironing may harm the jacket.

What kind of white ink? These jackets arrive in pristine condition. Was your box damaged or did it appear that it had been opened by someone?

Eiti,
It would be interesting if you could fill us in on more of the details of your TOD jacket and how it arrived. I recall you had many specific modifications that you wanted done. Did they all turn out as expected? I also would have thought you’d be most concerned about “white ink” on your jacket first, before you mentioned the wrinkled cotton lining??? Or is it like Langpuss mentioned, merely tailors chalk? Of course pictures would always help if you have the means to capture a few and post them.

The only tailor's chalk that was on mine was near the pocket, a couple of small dots the size of a pencil point.

I had to send my jacket back the day after i received it .
They forgot the ventilation holes it had the wrong buckles, no elastics, sleeves seams did not
perfectly end where the back panel ends, had not Tod lengh and was not longer in the front than in the back .... Even the document of Auth. was wrong
If you sent the jacket back, why not ask Peter about the lining? He
can probably do something about it. Its a little pre-mature to ask about
fixing the lining when you don't even have the jacket with you anymore.
And about the white markings on the jacket:
As mentioned before, this is nothing more than tailors chalk. A wet finger
will take it off no problem. Once you get your jacket back, just lick your
finger, and rub off the chalk. It will come right off.
Or, you could take a damp rag, and wipe it off with that if you don't want
to use the finger method. Its your choice.

He told me that they would add the details but they can´t change the lengh and sleeves ore exchange the hole jacket because of the custom pocket size i orderd.
Did you order the pockets the same size as used in the film? Could you give me the measurements? I'll be ordering soon and from what I've seen the Wested pockets seem a bit too big to be the right ToD-style. Thanks!

I took the dimensons from the Main Site of Indy Gear:
6" tall x 5"wide
In the short time I in which i had the jacket at home it looked
like seen on "regular guy"
