A few people have asked for pictures of my new 40th anniversary Raiders fedora "The Hero" in an outdoors/sunlight setting so I'm happy me to oblige. This is pure beaver fur felt btw...ImageImageImageImageImageImage

Looks great. Crown size is perfect. So many gearheads have hats that are too tall.

What is different about "The Hero" than hats screencapped has offered previously?

The main difference is the felts which are what I believe to be very close to match to the sable brown seen on screen in Raiders. Before, and for all of my other non-Raiders-style hats, I used a darker brown color that wasn't quite as accurate. Other than the felt upgrade it has a different liner and it also comes with a COA.

Looks really good. I'm definitely interested. You should do a side-by-side shot with your regular sable to show the difference.

What are your lead times looking like these days? I imagine a bit longer than the 30 days or so it took you to make mine a few years ago, lol.

Here's a pretty good comparison of the felts I use. My color I've used for years on the left and the new sable. My turnaround time is approximately 5-6 months at the moment. It's been a looooooong time since it was a month lol How's your hat holding up these days btw?ImageImage
