I love how Adam Savage doesn't even try to pretend he's too cool to be an unashamed geeky fan...just like we'd be in the same situation.

Without the stripes, the stone looks like a big russet potato...anybody else get that impression? :D

With that in mind, I guess Indy’s tug-of-war with Mola Ram while hanging on the rope bridge gives new meaning to the term “hot potato.”

Anyone else thinking that’s the tapered hat from the plane scene?

It could be, but I’d have expected that one to have tapered more.

It was curious to see the color difference in the ribbon on the ToD hat vs Adam’s AB. Is that due to the wrong color on AB or because the ToD hat is much older?

Likely faded with age.

I introduced the Indy movies to a woman I was dating in college. Her only takeaway from TOD was Indy was going after the “magic potatoes.”

We’re still friends some 30 years later and every now and again she’ll drop a magic potato joke.

The original Raiders and Temple ribbons were slightly different hues to begin with. Raiders is the darkest brown with Temple and Crusade having a slightly warmer brown. Also time/light taking its toll of course.

What a great video! Amazing! I wonder where the hat ended up? I always wonder who ends up buying these hats and whips and things.

Anyone on the forum here end up with any nice screen used Indy pieces? :-k
