On the Indy Gear site, Sentimental an Roadster are listed as sources for the bag. Well, I visisted their site, but couldn't find any. So either I am to stupid ore they don't have them anymore??? If so, is their another source you guys now of, carrying them right now? Seems like everytime a site turns up that has these bags, they are gone in no time
I don't want to go with a replicate or one of these Canadian bags though.

If memory serves me right (as it rarely does anymore   ), they were the first of the first of the sources for the bag. It wasn't even considered a standard stock item...they just so happen to have some pass through their stock room, so folks could only source them through them. Once they were gone, that was pretty much it. Regards. Michaelson

I ordered a bag from sentimental journey around October by phone. They said they were getting near the end of supplies so were only giving one per customer.

Yeah, they had good unissued bags. I sold mine purchased through them here on the boards to a member in England.

You won't find it in any of their catalogs, but if you call and ask, they know what you're looking for.

I ordered my very first Mk-VII from Sentimental Journey back in 1998, and it was in disappointingly poor shape. I made due with it until the following year, when I learned of The Roadster Factory and their unbelievable claim to have unissued Mk-VII's. Needless to say, I was quick to jump on the wagon for that deal, and for $40 bucks- what a bargain! It's the only bag I have today (I discarded the first satchel because the sight of it depressed me greatly).

Persoanlly I am perfectly happy to happy with the condition of the MKVII I got from SJ. To get an unissued, perfect new condition MKVII would eb so rare as most of these things would have been sitting in storage so long as to develop that 'condition' my guess is that the oen they used in the films was probably bought in much the same condition.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that there was a story circulating awhile back (back in the heyday of Indyfan) that Steven Spielberg personally bought the MkVII's for Raiders at Sentimental Journey in England. So, with the exception of the repro that I bought from WPG, all mine are from SJ.
