The Indiana Jones Mandela Effect

We could all use a good laugh in these crazy times. Here's one from a group of crazy people that believe Indy's hat isn't right anymore, at least compared to what their memory tells them:
https://www.alternatememories.com/histo ... -jones-hat" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
https://www.reddit.com/r/MandelaEffectB ... jones_now/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
https://www.reddit.com/r/MandelaEffect/ ... now_has_a/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
(Note: All these links essentially say the same thing)
This just confirms the Mandela effect is bunk to me. Further proof? The namesake, which is the alleged death of Nelson Mandela while incarcerated, is staunchly defended by believers of this theory... So long as they are not from South Africa. Ask any South African alive during this time period, and they have no memory of this.

The same phenomena was once known as the Berenstain effect, named after the creators and the characters of the Berenstain Bears books. There are people who believe the name used to be Berenstein. I mess with the parents at storytime every so often and show them different logos- one actual and one THOUGHT to be right. To those who don't pick the actual logos I tell them, "Welcome to our parallel universe!"

Lest we forget the hat is leather and the jacket is denim!

Guilty as charged. I don't know how I got to this universe. Anyone know the way home?

I have heard to the Mandella effect but have not heard about it spreading to Indy's hat! The one on the right reminds me of my Boonie hat a little bit. Riverboat Indy...Hahahaha. Love it!

mandela effect has some points most of us probably can relate to, like
does monopoly man have a monocle?
where are our kidneys placed? (kidney punch anyone?)
but sometimes they are crazy

Makes me think that we are in the Matrix. Always some subtle screw ups in the programming... Wait, did you see that? That black cat just walked by twice!

I blame Ace Venture for this false memory.

I still could swear there was a movie in the 90s with the comedian Sinbad playing a genie. I know what the internet says about the matter, but me and millions of others will take it to our graves that this movie actually exists.

Illinois... what the heck?! I just had to look into this to see what you're talking about. I'm becoming increasing convinced that I slipped into this alternate universe by mistake.

Shazaam! It's a classic! And I also remember the Bernstein Bears. Anybody that says it was the Bernstein Bairs is crazy, but at least we can all agree on the "Bernstein" part!
