Operating on a MkVII (replacing disc)

Howdy folks.
I've got two MkVIIs- one bag is in terrible condition but has a nice disc on it, while the other is in great condition but has a terrible disc. Clearly I want to swap the disc over, but the pin that holds them in looks pretty darn tight... has anyone ever done this before?
Any help on this would be most appreciated!

I wouldn't do it until you have the ability, or a place to take it to replace the rivet. The only way I can think of is to drill out the rivet that's in, make the swap and re-rivet to the second bag. You'll be left with a shiny new rivet, though.

I reccomend you devise a way to refasten the disks after drilling the rivet from the inside of the bag. There should be a small round cardboard or plastic-like washer there. You could just drill off the larger end of the rivet from the inside, switch your disks, then put a dab of epoxy on the 'washer' where the end of the rivet used to be to hold it in place.

Cheers folks. It's more delicate that I thought, all this.
I'll take my time.
