Back in January I perchased a 8ft whip at disney world. Well a few months later and about 50 cracks the whip is falling apart. I , in one of the smartest things that I have ever done saved the price tag and the recipt. I am currently trying to exchange it for another one but it is a long difficult struggle. Wish me luck.

Andy, I think that pretty much goes for anything that is sold by Disney in the prop realm. You might want to just try to get a refund or store credit.

Forget the store credit... get your money back. While you're at it... have them take you off the mailing list if you're on it.
I bought a Thumper outfit for Coppertop... and about once a week we get Disney Junk-Mail.
Know the ribbing I got when I was dressed as Jones and the boy was dressed as a bunny showing his teeth? Know how many Monty Python jokes I heard?

I see what you mean but this is the only whip that I can really afford. The price is right, the look is right. I looked on ebay and the only whips it had for a good price looked like they were made out of duct tape.

Having worked for the Mouse for few years back in the early nineties I can tell you it was a wise move on your part to keep the receipt. They will take it back. I also think you should take the money and get a different whip from another vendor, though. Happy hunting!
