Press studs on a FS Jacket
Has any one added a press stud to their FS jackets,
Yes, I know that would tamper with screen accuracy and all that jazz, but just wondering if anyone has do so for the sake of function rather than anything else.
Kind regards,
Stefan

So, where did you guys go to get the press stud added?Michaelson wrote:I added a snap to the bottom of mine just this winter. Helped immensely by taking strain off the bottom of the zipper when climbing in and out of my old car. (Ok now, no 'big gut' jokes ) Regards. Michaelson

Well, speaking for myself, I've had them done before at a local shoe repair shop. They have the snaps and tools to do this as they have to install snaps in repair of other leather wear. The last one I had installed (on my FS) was done by my youngest daughter, who occasionally makes custom leather gear for folks. Regards. Michaelson

Well for me I had it also done at an alteration shop at the local mall. There is too many leather specialists in the area, and the one which I usually went is too far now since I moved house.
After dropping the jacket, I went to Michael's Craft Store and there was a packet with brass and nickle press studs with all the necessary tools in a set for $8.00.
Kind regards,
Stefan
