I'm a 40R with a long torso. Sarge recommends a Medium size, Regular length (which is longish, the way I like it), Normal cut (for layering with a light sweater or flannel shirt. :TOH:

I’m guessing you’re going for an Indy? All Cape Buffalo styles are involved. :-k

Looking forward your report! :TOH:

Yes, it's an Indy (goes without saying, almost). Ordered it Friday, it arrived the following Monday. Wow.
The leather is every bit as gorgeous as 4T2's review indicates: heavy (compared to my lamb Wested Raiders Hero), but buttery with lots of depth. Not going out of my way to distress it, the tones should come up by themselves with a bit of use. The grain and texture are moderate: between featureless lamb and dino-hide, there's that nice "no two alike" zone.
The Fit: The collar stand is on the high side, but not Elvis-high. The straps are not as long as I expected, from looking at 4T2's pics. They're just perfect, IMO. Forgot to measure them, though.
The Regular cut layers well with a flannel shirt or a light sweater, especially with the satin lining. The cotton lining on the Wested grips like velcro on wool, especially since the sleeves are cut snugly. I could see wearing this on mild winter days, which was out of the question with the Wested. The pockets are right where my hands want them. If they were set the same distance from the lower hem as on a shorter jacket, they'd be too low, IMO. Looking at it from the side, you can see a definite drop from front to back. I wanted that-- again, for cool weather wear, and, ah, modesty. ;)

Sorry no pics yet, it's already on its way back to the shop to have the sleeves shortened (had to do the same thing with the Wested-- I am told I have arms like a fire hydrant). Even with the alteration charges, it's a remarkable bargain. Thanks, Sarge & company. :TOH:
