Found this company in England selling bullwhips.
It is not a indy bullwhip but maybe of interest of starters with a low budget.
Quality is good for this price and easy to crack.
Sometimes on ebay but mostly more expensive.

is everytime unbelievable how they are joking with the customers! But the tapering at the whip is funny.
I've got a 6ft americ. pattern from Mike Murphy at last. I think this is the other end of the scale...

Yeah,
these kind of "whips" are the worst class bull**it there is
and they give really wrong picture about whips and whipcracking!

Its exactly same with cars where someone puts all kind of "Turbo", "Four Wheel Drive", "4WD" signs and they are nothing else but 1972 Toyotas inside!

We've seen these whips on sale before. I think they may be fine if all you're after is a wall decoration that you might occasionally get down and make some noise with, although I would always be wary of the durability of any bullwhip without a fall. I would also be concerned that someone who knows nothing about whips, could be mislead by the word 'finest'. But with luck, they'll shop around and realise that you don't get 'finest' for that price.

I guess, at the end of the day, it's a case of horses for courses. The first 'bullwhips' we owned were joke shop items, retailing between £10 and £15, and each fell apart after about ten minutes - but that was enough to get us hooked. At a total of £33, you aint gonna get a good quality short bullwhip in the UK, let alone an 8 footer. But you might get one that lasts long enough to whet your appetite for something better (or something so poor that you decide to never pick up a whip again)! As long as the customer is told the limitations of the product, they can still shop around and get the best value for their money.

Whipstore - You are absolute right.
I think there are people outthere just want a bullwhip for decoration.
It cannot be compared to the REAL whips we all know

In the netherlands we have a strict weapons law.
It is not allowed to carry one except on privat property.
Risking to hand over your $300 bullwhip to the police !!??

My whip is a nice decoration item, maybe sometime i will buy a REAL one

Yeah, I found out about that saturday night. (It's carnaval (don't bother asking what it is, Americans wouldn't understand anyway) around here, you know)
On the street I met two friends of mine, and in a public field of grass I was demonstrating my whip. After one minute a police car pulled up and the guys inside told me that the would let me go, if I brought the whip home immediately.
I was really lucky there. (Also because they didn't notice the tail light on my bike wasn't working properly  )
The policemen wrote down my personal information and said that if I was ever to use it in public again I would have to hand it in and pay a fine in addition.

Had I known that in advance I wouldn't have brought it with me. Our country is going to waste because of all these stupid little rules (although I understand this one, there are too many rules around here)
I guess this is just one more reason to emigrate, now just to find out where I should go  :-k
