Triple-wrap clip-on belt whip-holder

Post by bearbeast »

This is another project I've been wanting to get my hands on for a while.

A clip-on belt holder. Why? Well, last year I went hiking a few times and until I reached the trail I always kept my whip in my backpack. But on the trail I wanted to have it hanging on my belt. It was a bit of trouble: I either needed a supplementary belt, or I had to take my own belt off, thread it to the whip holder and put it back on... So I thought... why not a whip holder that can be quickly put on the belt?

So, I finally put one together. A leather strip attached to a holster clip.

To better hold on to the whip I went with three wraps.

Thanks for looking!

That is an outstanding idea. One of those, "Why hasn't someone done this before?"

Thanks, Indiana Jeff! :anxious: Maybe no one did it because it is not screen accurate enough... But I like to add my style and interpretation to all my Indy gear! :-k

Screen accurate, it doesn’t need to be, for this is something for when you are out and about and not in full gear, for those times you’ll be wearing SA.

But this is an awesome idea and one that is way over due.

So I too want on any possible run. If there is one.

Bravo.
Brilliant.

Hi, guys! I can make some of these TW-COB-WH, but I can only ship inside the EU, unfortunately.

The customs regulations for exporting outside the EU from my country are quite awful...

Thanks! :TOH: I also wish I could ship worldwide as well... I've had a lot of requests that I had to turn down, because of the difficulty of shipping outside the EU.

Thank you so, Croft! ;)

And, yeah... Bureaucracy here in Romania is insane... I guess it's bad everywhere, but we managed to 'perfect' it... To maddening levels. ](*,)

Is it impossible in Romania to send a package as a gift?

Yup, they basically ask you to go through their customs branch.... Which works two-three days a week and you stay in line 4-5 hours to get in...

At least in my home town... I dread it, so I avoid ordering/sending stuff outside the EU.
