Crystal Skull train hat from adVintage

I've long wanted a 100% beaver fedora, but at generally $400 and up most were out of my budget reach. I actually think I'd be afraid to wear a hat that cost that much!
But I loved my 2 adVintage Harrison 80/20 rabbit-beaver-mix hats. And adVintage's Portuguese beaver fedoras go for under $340, including shipping to the US. So I decided to get myself a birthday present this fall.
Since I've always liked the style and shape of Steve Delk's "Crystal Skull" hats, I wanted something like the light gray train hat, with its slightly taller crown and wider brim than standard Indy configuration. So I chose adVintage's stone gray (maybe a shade darker, but a great color). The hat made it to my Maryland door from Germany in under 2 weeks, and I'm very happy with the results.
Nothing but high praise for Thomas Osygus at adVintage -- he not only delivers a beautiful hat, but does so with dogged, gracious customer service.
For anybody in the market for a beaver hat, adVintage's quality, price, and service would be mighty tough to beat.
