my Bullwhip No.16

Post by eaglecrow »

Since my last whip, appr. 5 years have past. I thought it is time to give the craft another go. So here it is, my latest 7 1/2ft Indy whip (2 plaited roohide bellies, 2 cowhide bolsters and a 12plait roohide overlay, led balance at the heel and with a wristloop). My first whip I ever crafted in Vienna, too!
Since a little whipmakers reunion with Mr. whiskyman, I thought I share some process pictures and the (still to be shellaced) result.

Hope you enjoy the pics :TOH:

And very nice too. Glad I got to inspect it first hand - shame we didn't get to do any cracking. Next time!! :whip:
